I could answer your question on why this is in the list. It was that bad.-The end had a really huge plot hole. The only thing that happend is the characters just agree to live together, with a song.-The beginning was a waste of time and didn't have a promising start. 30 minutes of their theme song just repeating the same lines.-I hated the idea of making a crossover from some of the Disney princesses and fairy tale characters. Even the main character was the villain from Tangled. This is unoriginal.-I cannot believe what Disney has done to the Little Red Riding Hood. She is out of character and is an annoying whinny brat.There are more reasons om why this movie was bad, but the only good thing about this was Chris Pine's singing voice.

Okay so for all of you saying there's too much singing, I just wanna remind everyone this was a musical adapted for the big screen. This is painful process that usually ends in failure, but I think they did a decent job. Meryl was close to flawless, James and Emily were too cute, and the intro still amazes me. Anna Kendrick has officially been redeemed for her role in Pitch Perfect. Yes, Red and Jack were irritating characters, but those two kids did a great job and had amazing range in their singing voices.

I don't mind that there was singing throughout the entire film in the way that it did it; I mind that the singing was god-awful and the plot was stupid. Scenes that were supposed to be funny weren't really, Johnny Depp was not-so-subtley made to seem like a rapist, and the weird tonal shift about half-way through made it somehow even worse than it had been up until that point. Also James Corden is terrible in general; his voice is irritating, and he isn't funny or even very interesting.

I personally am not the biggest fan of Into The Woods itself, although I adore and greatly respect Stephen Sondheim. I went and saw ITW in theaters. It was actually okay! It had a great cast (star-studded. I mean, come on! Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Emily Blunt, Lilla Crawford, Anna Kendrick, etc.) It was just long. Music was beautiful though.
