The one and only empire to show that Islam can be unified with Western values. WWI was not the end of Ottoman turkey. it just became really weak. turkey was a world power but not during WWI. they were allied with germany and were more focust on territory then their econemy at home. that may be one of the reasons they fell. also they were founded in 1209.
