Australia has a high potential, large geographically, abundant natural resources and newer infrastructure that is turning largely towards sustainability. There are many perks to being a young country. It is well located with ties to the UK, the US as well as across south east Asia. Culturally we have progressed far in the last ten years in finding a stronger national identity and as the years progress I believe Australia will flourish. Although I would say that although it is possible for Australia to become a Superpower, it would require a change in stance in global politics as we traditionally opt for co-operation rather than leadership. Australia could certainly be one of the first majorly Soft Power based Superpowers in the future.

Australia has no land borders, massive amounts of resources and vast room for expansion within its own boarders. Australia has currently powerful allies which it can rely on for military support whilst it quietly builds. Key weaknesses in population size and large scale manufacturing ability must be rectified however. Australia's have proven to be very resourceful and inventive in the past and anyone who looks past the great southern land as a possible world power ( it already punches far above it weight! ) is a fool... Australia teamed with NZ for a future world super power! And let there be beer and meat pies for everyone!

Australia Has Great Potential to make it among the world superpowers. They have most of the worlds Uranium in their backyard. We Don't use it however. Only 1 nuclear reactor that is used to manufacture medicine. Our military may not be as Big as america IE, Aircraft carriers. Actually that's the only thing we don't have. We have everything else. Navy. Airforce and Army. As well as our Special forces.
