I remember the times back in 1.0-1.8 (I loved them! ) where the fanbase was reduced to like, 50%, but ever since Minecraft parodys of songs came, and the youtubers, it quickly turned viral.I, personally used to like minecraft, but I got bored of all the zika-infected kids saying "OH ME GAWD YOU SUCH A HACKER YOU USED SUPER POWERFUL ARMOUR AND SWORD, when we had the same armor and sword no further enchants. And then it became overrated.Now these days, you find kids on servers with nostalgia. Altough it's rare, I am pretty sure you might have found it.They say that minecraft is the best game ever and everyone should play it. But it spread easily, and it got annoying. When did Minecraft turn into such a horrible game with such a horrible fanbase?! I remember back in the early days of Minecraft, all multiplayer was was playing with friends, building houses, and all sorts of stuff, but NOW, it is horrible hub worlds with "minigames" and no actual gameplay. Every fan except a few outliars all "roleplay" and do all sorts of crazy stuff. It just sickens me that the game has turned into such a pile of crap.

Now I love minecraft, I think it is a great game, but by god is the fan base awful! Before it got famous, everything was fine. Then, people began to make (good)YouTube videos. Soon,it was extremely famous, to the point where every YouTuber ever was playing it. Most of the videos now are unoriginal, simply because so many people are making so many videos on every different thing you can do. A typical mc video has an animated intro, dubstep, like goals, constant remainders to like and subscribe and no new content, that we haven't seen before.

I don't think this game deserves it's publicity. I was having a conversation with some of my friends who like Minecraft and I was saying how the devs seem to make everyone keep playing my releasing tiny updates that they make seem like huge and fantastical works of art, the conversation didn't go very well.

Honestly, Minecraft is quite a nice game. But I think it gets too annoying with all those parody's and the fan base. They completely RAGE when you say something like "minecraft does not have good graphics" (the statement is kinda true! ) then they throw rage at you. Especially super minecraft kid...
