Indian army has got 4th rank in the world. And it is not the opinion of only an Indian but in most of the rankings given in the world they have got 4th rank. So far ground forces are concerned, no ground force in the world is equal to Indian ground forces. The way Indians defeated Pakistanis in difficult conditions in Kargil, proves it.Pakistani Army doesn't feature in any top ten rankings. They are self proclaimed best army in the world. Indian army has defeated Pakistan more than 5 times. Captured Pakistani lands in 1948 and 1984 and even has broken Pakistan in 2 parts in 1971. They have even successfully crushed insurgencies in many areas. They defeated the Portuguese back in 1961 with the independence of Goa and faced the Chinese in highly negative conditions in 1962. The only army which has successfully faught and won battles and as well as crushed insurgents in highly rough jungle and mountaneous terrains.

India loves peace and doesnot attacks pakistan, they also have powerful aircraft carriers and has just bought new rafael aircrafts, because of india's merciful nature the pakistan army is alive (no offense, just I know being over reacted, but some comments were meaningless, so I replied like this, because in one comment it said that indian army does not attack enemy because they are coward)
