The Saints are going into this year in win-now mode. Drew Brees is playing his last season before retirement, and if he wants to go off into retirement with a Super Bowl win like Peyton Manning did, then he has work to do in the playoffs. The last three seasons, the Saints have been amazing in the regular season, but fell apart at some point in the playoffs. They lost on a last second miracle play in the Divisional Round to the Vikings in 2017, in overtime of the NFC Championship Game to the Rams in 2018, and in overtime of the Wild Card Round to the Vikings yet again in 2019.
