I have followed EJ for years. I am highly impressed by his skills, and all the adventures he has taken off grid with nothing more than a pot, a machete and a fire starter. Not many people can say they survived over a month with nothing more than that. I myself would not hesitate to go on an off grid adventure with him knowing he has the skills to survive anything.I love how involved he is in his community as well and how thoughtful he is. He sent my son a nice little "congratulations" package and made a personal congratulations video for him when he got his Eagle Scout Badge a few years ago.EJ is just an all around smart, critically thinking, wonderful human being.

Amazing wealth of knowledge, fun and extremely likeable, both my sons and my own favourite, my son in particular is so inspired by him, when I found out he was doing a UK event for children I drove 6 hours across the UK for him to get the chance to meet his hero and he seriously did not disappoint, it was the best day ever for my son, he dressed as EJ and got to live out his survival dreams, building dens and lighting fires and learning about hunting with EJ, EJ was amazing with everyone there and it made my son respect him even more, a true gentleman and inspiring man.

I just spent 9 months doing market research on survivors to develop an eco-health adventure park with survivor training and challenges. In terms of Survivor Training, meaning you survive and not die in the process of an adventure, EJ is simply the best. Less is a great survivor...great on his own, but I am tired of reading fans saying he is all alone- no his drop off crew is minutes away! Unfortunately, he is so methodical and slow to think and make decisions, in an urgent survival situation, you need strong confidence to react - Id want EJ by my side over any other survival expert. Having been in real world "survival" conditions and having trained with EJ "Skullcrusher" Snyder, I can undeniably attest to his knowledge and skill level. Unlike most other survival experts, Snyder is training Search And Rescue Teams (the folks who do it day in and day out). He works from a realistic place and his philosophy is based on practicality. The man is without ego and has a humble demeanor. I'm looking forward to training with him again. He doesn't sell any pie-in-the-sky fantasies about turning people into Grizzly Adams types, but rather focuses on teaching a person "how to" fish instead of giving them a fish. As tough as they come and proven pro at individual AND group survival, which calls on a whole different set of social skills to survive. In a real world crisis, give me the guy That can lead and hold the team together, despite the crazy personalities or lack of skill. If everyone is going to make it, you need a guy that make them believe they will survive. EJ does that, both by his skill and toughness, but mental approach.
