絕對是個種族主義國家！我因為在一家快餐店給女朋友買了一杯蘇打水而受到種族歧視。漢堡包店的經理因為我喝了她的蘇打水而報警，并指控我喝了沒有付錢的蘇打水。四輛警車出現在我面前，像是在調查謀殺案什么的。因為我買了一瓶汽水給我女朋友當心！所有這些都是因為一對混血兒一起喝汽水。我再也不會有興趣回到那個州了

Definitely a racist state! I was victimized by racism for buying my girlfriend a soda in a fast food joint. The burger joint manager called the COPS because I drank some of her soda and accused me of drinking soda without paying for it. 4 COP cars showed up and questioned me just like it was a homicide investigation or something.. Over a soda I had bought for my girlfriend mind you! All this over a mixed couple sharing a soda. I would never have an interest in returning to that state.

Don't bother, and don't kid yourself about the diversity of New Orleans, many African Americans dislike Caucasians. Actually I have experienced far more acceptance from the Caucasians. Some interactions in NOLA may result in violence... So beware

I' m Hispanic. I remember at Job Corps in San Marcos,TX, there were many blacks from Louisiana there. Lots of racism from them. I was always hearing about how some white guy got jumped by 10 blacks if he was walking alone. It happened to some friends of mine(white guys). It happened to my ex (Hispanic) one night while I was with him. Very scary!
