Andi Mack was the 1st show on Disney Channel to focus on the LGBT+ community and spread awareness of it.Yet it helped everyone think positively about those people and gain respect.It showed us that despite sexual orientation, everyone matters and can be nice to one another.It became one of the most popular shows Disney Channel's ever aired for the 6-11 demographic, and put a new respect toward LGBT+ people, though I admit how that kinda seemed to not fit with the target audience of the network.Kinda like how Ren and Stimpy didn't fit with Nickelodeon's target audience and was a great show.Sadly, Disney Channel decided to end the show after 3 seasons, where as some other good shows (like That's So Raven and Wizards of Waverly Place) ran 4 seasons, which was said to be the season window for Disney Channel shows due to budget limitations.Despite how popular this show became and how it impacted such culture, Disney decided to ended it rather ... more - Gregory
