I actually find the first Captain America to be good, but not great. It was boring most of the time. But this managed to surpass the first movie! This is one of my favorites in the MCU! The tone is different from the previous MCU films, where it would start to get dark. It tackles the topic of how big organizations can be corrupted from the inside without you even noticing it and raises awareness of the possible threat of special warfare. Captain America gets more character development in this film since hes more of a emphatic hero than he was in the first movie. It has the perfect blend of action and story! Both the Falcon and Black Widow are amazing in this film! So is Nick Fury! Bucky Barnes is just straight up badass! The reveal that he is the Winter Soldier is just amazing and creates a really good conflict for Steve Rogers to deal with! The film excels in storytelling and has a really good plot.
