事實上，標題應該是“色雷斯人”或“蓋提安人”【哥特人】。達契安人只是羅馬人給這些色雷斯人的名字。我想他們應該留在這張圖表的前5位。但是因為這個文明在文字發展之前已經很古老了，他們似乎不那么重要，因為他們專注于使用希臘文字的年輕文明，羅馬人、埃及人、閃米特人等等。色雷斯人是歐洲文明的奠基人，早在希臘部落從亞洲來到之前幾千年。根據希臘古代歷史學家的說法，色雷斯人是他們文化的“母親”，是最初歐洲文明的源頭，色雷斯人居住的地區是實際國家的特例：羅馬尼亞、保加利亞、前南斯拉夫、希臘、阿爾巴尼亞、匈牙利、斯洛伐克、烏克雷內、俄羅斯南部、波蘭南部、土耳其西部、北部……等等
