I never laughed while watching this movie. I knew what was going to happen, and the animation overshadows how bad this movie actually is. It is okay in some perspectives, but first of all: pugs do NOT look like that. Pugs are adorable dogs and do not look like they got ran over by a car and had surgery preformed by the most sleep-deprived doctor. In fact, most of the animals in this movie look like the unfortunate treatment Mel had. Our main character is a Jack Russell Terrier named Max. I like switching from the overuse of large dogs to smaller side, but I have never seen a dog more clich茅d in my entire life. "Oh, I like chasing balls! Bark! Oh, and I can also sit all day and wait for my goddess Katie to come home! " I think this would've been better off as a short film rather than a full length movie explaining what our toys- PETS do at home when we're not around.

I thought this could have been better. It doesn't only teach jelousy and revenge, it also teaches lies, when Max told gidget that Duke was going away. FALSE INFORMATION! There was no "let it go" or "your welcome" instead, they took a bunch of pop songs and mashed then (ex.stayin alive we go together.) When I went to see Star trek beyond, the theatre I was in wasn't playing Mike and Dave need wedding dates. That wasn't fair because it came out the same day as Mike and Dave need wedding dates. Instead, it was playing this. I lied when I said I watched it in the theatre. I watched it online for free. I must have lost brain cells during the lying scene. And I lied about the animation. The animation was good because it's the same animation as despicable me, minions sing, and the lorax. I still hated this movie. Please don't type any rude comments, RMO-trollsfan536

I absolutely adore the Secret Life of Pets. Oh, sure. It's a cliche. The main villain just keeps on screaming. And some characters are either a brat, a crybaby or a freak. But that's how I like my movies. It's got great animation, pleasant voice acting, and every single character is absolutely adorable. Great humour, too. I hope Sing is just as good. - redhawk766

I loved it, they're gonna make a sequel in 2019 or 2020. This was my second favorite animated film of the year after Finding Dory. I loved this so much. It's so amazing.
