Being the leader of European Union, Germany has strong political ties with several countries strategically placed around the world. Germany survived two drastic world wars and continues to dominate the world GDP. Volkswagen,BMW, everyone is there, living in Germany, breathing in Germany. Unlike Americans, Germans feel no shame in paying a heavy tax and boosting their economy to the limit. Germany is the savior of Europe in the middle of a refugee crisis, and will be continue to be the king of Europe.

A lot of innovation (seriously, haven't you seen Germany engineering), skilled labor force (which is the largest in Europe excluding Russia), and low levels of corruption. Plus German food is delicious.

People forget one very important thing about Germany. It has the largest diaspora! There maybe only 80 million citizens of the Germany. BUT, there are nearly 80 million German-Americans. Then, there are the German-Dutch, Swiss-Germans, Austrians, Danes, Swedes, Germans in Mexico, South America. Nearly 250 million world wide.Germany as a lone nation is not a super power. However, a peaceful Germany that learns to draw on its Diaspora for principles and values could very well be a formidable super power.
