Delaware is very racist. I remember growing up sitting outside and the cops arrested my brother for sitting on our porch. My grandma told the cops he was her grandson and they said trespassing. This state is so corrupt. They do nothing for the youth. The cops beat my other brother up when he was 12 years old for riding in a car with his friends. He shouldn't have been in the car but he was a child. One of the worst states

You have your share of old asses. You know, the ones who like to complain about modern times and reminisce about the good ol' days when lynching and cross burning was A-OK! But for the most part, everyone is pretty chill. The government is a bit corrupt and needs to be taken care of, but the cops are the worst, especially in some smaller towns. They don't care what color you are. They will nail your ass if they catch you going 2 MPH over the speed limit.

I have been racially profiled on 3 seperate ocassions that were blatantly obvious. Twice in Bear once in Dover. Countless other times, I probably didn't notice. I have received numerous tickets, never warned. I have been denied admittance to schools. Not been given jobs, I was more than qualified for. Teased and mocked by racist coworkers. Almost run off the road by rednecks.Delaware is a majority white state and very racist! The professional blacks are racist as well! So glad to finally be moving after 10 years. Nothing but misery!

Delaware is so much worse than people think it it. It is a bottomless pit. I've seen people come here and within a year, become a complete junkie. I know 20+ who have died under the age of 25... ALL DUE IN SOME WAY TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE.The drug scene here is absurd. Mostly everyone I know has tried weed, alcohol, percs, adderol, Molly, coke, heroin... You name it. I can get it. Anyone can. I can't even remember how many times I've seen white trash people doped out. Homelessness. Racism. Illegal immigrants. Massive drug abuse and not to mention terrible drivers. Oh, but if you go 5 minutes up the road, you're surrounded by white, upper class neighborhoods with 500k homes filled with reckless teenagers doing the SAME drugs, hanging out with the SAME people and going to the SAME schools, as the "low class" people in less wealthy areas. It is seriously everywhere you turn.

Delaware is the worst state to for anyone. After most people move out they then refer to it as HELLAWARE. It's a very corrupt state. It's tax free shopping however the state troopers are so corrupt they will do anything to generate revenue... I mean anything. Stay away!

This is a horrible state. HELLAWARE! Very brutal and bitter people. My parents set me up like a raw piece of meat dangling before wolves. Do not visit; and stay far away from Wilmington (this city is as bad as Detroit, MI and Baltimore, MD) and metros.
