I think Farsi is the most beautiful language I've ever heard. It's like spoken song. My taste is for soft flowy language. I would consider Farsi, French, Portuguese, Gaelic etc. Like the cursive of spoken languages and these are the ones I find most beautiful as well as Italian. Though I would categorize Italian as bouncy and fun rather than romantic and beautiful. I'm sure I'm leaving out so many languages that I've never heard. I wish I could hear them all. They're all beautiful in their own way.

If its only about how languages sound then I should say yes it sounds good.Ihim.. it sounds good and this fact is what gave this lang opportunity to evolve and become the body of the biggest tree of languages which they call indo European.. Farsi is a beautiful language! It is an indo European language. Grammar is like English as there's no feminine or masculine and pretty easy to learn. A lot of nouns are somehow similar to their French, German Italian equivalents. It might look like Arabic because of its alphabet but it has nothing to do with Arabic. It's a very poetic language and has lots of metaphor. And it's one the oldest languages that has survived all this time!

It is the language as it is. It was difficult to grasp for the European guy.Persian is amazing. it is the only language which didn't dissolve when Islam attacked and Arabic was imposed as the only official language. look at the languages spoken in the Middle east and specially Egypt before Islam. Encountered to many non-farsi speaker saying that farsi sounds so musical and nice, when they heard me talking in Farsi. Plus, I think Farsi has this nature of being one of the most musical languages as it introduced some of the most powerful classical poets and literature. though many people around the world had never had the chance to get to know them or hear farsi.

Previously, I would have said Finnish, but by accident I overheard a Farsi/Persian conversation and I was so enchanted I approached the speakers ask which language it was. They warily replied it was Persian. When thanked them and told them I thought it was the most beautiful language I had ever heard, their faces instantly lit up with gratitude.

It is full of calmness and flexible in tones; because its words doesn't have any stress by default, but you put stress on words depending on your meaning and occasion. there is no difference between men and women in Farsi verbs nor nouns. you don't need to use subject for every sentence and a single verb can tell much things. And its literature is so rich, If you don't know Farsi you will miss Hafiz, Sa'di, Ferdowsi, Molana,... And I think that's enough to want to learn Farsi.
