Siiiiiiiigh. I made the mistake of moving here after living in the two of the nicest places (Northwest and South). People here are rude on the road, which sucks because everyone is crammed on the roads two plus hours every day. People are rude in person, they stare, they gossip loudly. Nobody can handle anyone a little bit different than them, which is a shame, as there are so many different kinds of people here. I'm sick of Maryland, it's beautiful, but they can keep it. I hope everyone here gets eaten by ticks.

Washington isn't a bad place. You went to Seattle. I just want to let you know that you went to Seattle. We're 100% different! Auburn is awesome, but we're not perfect. I agree that we're bad in some cases. Apparently, a middle school principal from a school I used to go to bullied a teacher and she tried to kill herself. Then, I heard (about the same principal) that he had sexual relations with a teacher. Also, I'm still not allowed to walk 2 blocks by myself because of all of these sexual predators. Don't read the beggining of this paragraph, Washington is terrible.

Horrible place to live. Grew up there and was bullied terrible. I'm so glad I don't live there anymore. I've heard now its nothing but crime and drugs. Growing up there was very hard. I even got picked at the grocery store. I have very pale skin. Everyone in maryland is obsessed with tanning or spray tan so if your pale they make fun of you or stare at you like your a alien or something. I live in florida now. The people are nicer but a lot of stupid people and bad drivers, but Maryland has to be the worse place I've ever lived.

Sociopathic neighbors is right on the money I have one right now and cannot understand why. Moved here for job obligations. This state sucks first year I was here had my car stolen. I find Maryland people to be either very nosey getting in your business were it doesn't belong or the other extreme and not even acknowledge your presence.

I'm from Maryland and it really depends on where you are from. Out west near the mountains the people are much more close minded and rude while in places like Howard County most people are very nice. There will always be people from every state that are rude but Maryland has some of the most behind other people's backs kind of rude.

Where do I start? Maryland has some of the most sociopathic neighbors and teenagers you could ever imagine. Some of their kids make threats to kill their neighbors when their bored. Their mothers head out to finish the job to make threats to kill people. And this is in the upscale rich communities. Maryland is hell.

Have lived in southern MD for 12 years. The locals are very clique-ish. It is an odd place - I am from a small town where you smile and say Hello. My husband is from a big city, where you keep your head down and mouth shut. People here won't greet you, but will simply STARE at you. It's bizarre, and despite living here this long, it's never felt like "home".

While reading your comment I had to laugh...As a native of Southern Maryland, I was confused when you called us "clique-ish" and how we wont greet people...We are some of the most welcoming people out there - I mean heck, we welcomed nearly 200,000 newcomers with open arms for the military bases. Our culture is southern, so you might not be used to that? Do we really stare? You might just be imagining things... - ConnorRussell27
